Victory for pear shaped girls everywhere!! I found my wedding band!!!
I'm sooo thrilled. After months of searching for the perfect wedding band (at one point I was willing to settle for a lot less than perfect...but it was breaking my heart!) I found it.
It's been so difficult because I'm picky about my e- ring sitting flush against my wedding band and that's almost impossible for a pear shaped ring that's not set high enough for average bands to fit under. Even contour bands looked odd and I was very particular about wanting a band that looked great without my e-ring. Custom rings were out of the question after a few price quotes.
I came across this band in Na Hoku that looks kind like two bands intertwined...like a bow. The bottom of my pear fits snuggly in the small dip in the top of the bow AND since it's even on the top and bottom it looks great alone. I don't even know if the store even considered it a 'wedding band', but I love it!! We had to give it to my mom to ensure I won't try it on every day :)
