Anyone know of a video company in Deer Park with a video person by the name of Danny or something. I want to say the company is perhaps called video magic or video maker or something like that? If you do know, do you also know their phone number ann email or homepage?

Re: Video
HI-I've been working with Mark from Videomaker in Deer Park, but I don't think he has a David who works with him.
His number is 254-8416, but 2 other brides on this site have had trouble getting him to call back in a timely matter. I called him Monday and he hasn't called us back about our video (though I called my photographer on Thursday and I'm waiting for him to call, too).
Mark was great to work with, but until I see my video I can't comment for sure.

Re: Video
Actually, He didn't return my phone call the first time.He said his computer that forwards the messages crashed and it took some time to have it fixed.
I did meet with videomaker and thought his product was good. And for $875 you can't beet the price. If he truely has fixed his problem I would check him out. Maybe he was just making excuses, you would have to try to contact him to find out. I just couldn't get passed it, too bad for his business though.
Yes, I booked with Bellarino.

Re: Video
Hi Tara-I mentioned in my original post that he didn't call 2 of you back. I wouldn't hold that completely against him. It never hurts a Bride to make a phone call and talk with someone before making a decision, especially for brides on a budget. If she calls and he doesn't return her call, it's his loss. If they do meet and she learns more about what she wants to do about video, then she gains, even if she doesn't book him.
He was on time for me, but since I haven't gotten my video yet, we'll still hold off on a final opinion.

Re: Video
We also booked Bellarino. Phil was the only place we looked at and loved. I called many places and never got a call back, I wonder if it was because I am not getting married until 2004, but anyway Phil called back, we met him, loved him and booked him. We booked him back in March for my Sept. 2004 wedding.

Re: Video
I'm also using Videomaker, you cannot beat their prices and I feel their quality is better than Bellarino. I called Marc because I was concerned that you girls were having trouble reaching him, I was afraid he went out of business. He called me back the next day without any problem and said sometimes it may take a day for him to get back to you since he works full time as well. I would still check him out if anyone is still looking for video.

Re: Video
My only issues with booking video companies were that I did not want a video that made me dizzy because the camera moved around too quickly, and I did not like very bright lights. Many companies did one or the other (this is not including some of the nicer video companies like Wild Rose, which i did not check out for price reasons only, I've heard they are great). Bellarino had great quality videos and he has a very steady hand, but I felt he used very bright lights and I really did not want that for my video. Videomaker had a steady hand and no bright lights, and he even had some cool special effects for an aven better price! You will have a great video with either company.Welcome New Vendors
