I went to see Wild Rose last night and was extremely impressed. Their work is beautiful! I thought it was such a coincidence (since they had no clue at first about my wedding plans) that the 1st DVD they showed us was at my church, then the Stonybrook pond (where i'm taking my formals), and the reception was at one of the EastWinds!! I really think i'll be going w/ them but I don't know if I should see one person just to compare, has anyone heard of Candlelight Video and any reviews on them??

If you want to look into another videography. You should look into Bellarino Video Bellarino . Myself and alot of the girls here have or are using them.

Re: Video
I am a wild rose bride and proud of it. Bill and Marie have been wonderful from day#1. I met with 6-7 other video companies before finding them. The day of the wedding Bill was great and Marie even came to the wedding for a bit to see me. I see my raw footage on Thursday. I highly, highly recommend them. They never caused me one ounce of grief during all of my plans.

I also heard great things about Bellarino but they're pretty out of the way for us.

Re: Video
DaniRN, what do you mean that Bellarino is out of your way?

Re: Video
Well just that we live in Eatern Suffolk and both have weird work schedules (we only have 1 night off together) so it's easier to have vendors that are kind of closer to us.

Re: Video
I am a Wild Rose bride also. I went to four other viedographers before them and pretty much booked on the spot. From a technical standpoint for me, they give you soup to nuts video wise. quality is the same no matter which package you choose- 1) look at how Bill gets the detail!!!! 2)He gives you both artsy (intro and recap) and standard wedding taping (puts no music over ceremony and reception)- best of both worlds.
However, we looked at someone AMAZING as well.l Take a look at Magic Flute Videos. A bunch of people have used them over on weding channel post and they are phenom... www.magicflutevideos.com.

I also highly recommend Wild Rose Video. We are using them for our wedding this April. Bill and Marie are absolutely wonderful! You won't regret choosing them to capture your wedding.

Re: Video
They are such sweet people and I have heard great things too, I met with them and would have went with them if they werent so much more expensive than Bellarino who was just as good. If you can afford them I say go for it

Re: Video
Personally, I found NO other company to compare to Wild Rose Video. Bill & Marie are the nicest & talented people in video out there. John & I were amazed by their work. Their editing is incredible. They have different packages and can discuss which is right for your budget. I say book them. Wild Rose Video

Re: Video
Candlelite is worth checking out. They were very unobstrusive at a wedding I went to. I'm thinking of them as well.

Re: Video
I just recently booked JR Video. I know they give East Wind brides a free DVD upgrade. I have to admit that I went word of mouth through friends and they said they were great. They are in Selden in the Tommy's Tune building. You can check them out also if you want more choices.
