Ok how do i just use a small section of a dvd...let me explain, i want to use probably like a 5 minute clip from e-party dvd, how do i only save those 5 minutes

ask your videographer to help.
He took a part of our engagement and cut it out to play during our wedding reception.

What program are you using? If you have a Mac or iMovie or iDVD, I could probably help you out.

i went to windows media center and there wasn't really anything i can do in there...Now i just went to windows movie maker which i think i can use...Only problem is that it keeps saying to import videos to hook up the device, i have it on a disk, when i go to import it like that it won't

Maybe you could just try to open the file? Importing should work though. Sorry , I'm clueless with Media Player!

I go to import file, go to my computer and click on the disk, i click on import and NOTHING happens

yeah i think that might be it, bc it says step by step what to do so i would be able to figure it out. I guess its just not able to save to my computer.
Thank you i really appreciate that...i am not exactly sure which clips i would use though, wanted to test it out first. Not really a big deal or important
