Hi everyone. I am on a budget and would like a video at my wedding so that I can remember the day but I am not looking to spend a great deal of money on it. (under $1000) I owuld prefer to put that money elsewhere. We would like one DVD if possible. Can you help with a good vendor? thanks

Re: video for no more than $1000
well if you're looking for an inexpensive video - i know that skylight has one for about $995. I would just remind you that you DO get what you pay for...that is for an unedited version of your day. if you're willing to spend $1000, you might want to think about allocating a couple more hundred dollars so you can also be happy with the result...JMO

Check out duet. 2 Photographers and 1 video for about $3000. They are on Jericho Tnpk in Hunt. Station. 673-8784. A lot of people are booking with them on here. I have a few more photographers to check out before I sign.

Try katemediainc.com- The sample I saw was pretty good- not really cheesy.

Check out JR video - We used them. Our package was higher because we wanted more things, different, and ass't, and all that stuff. However, they do have lower packages and he will work with you on the price and packages. JR Video in Centereach.

Duet offers a video for under $1000. I think it's either unedited or incamera edited. Check them out!
But if your budget can stretch, consider getting an edited tape from them. I think you can get it for around $1,200.

Re: video for no more than $1000
I at first had that attitude that I wanted just something to capture the day so I can look back on live footage, but then I saw most of the prices were pretty high for 'RAW' footage. So for some more money I am getting the video I will love to look back on every anniversary, made by a vendor I trust!

I second Bellarino - you probably will get an unedited version but for 200 more you can get a nice edited version!
