Video of Ceremony Only?

Video of Ceremony Only?

My FH and I are looking for a videographer, but we are only looking to tape our ceremony. Most of the ones we've called said they will only book for a five hour minimum. Clearly, the ceremony won't take that long.

Any ideas?

Check LeMuse photography.

They customize packages.

But why would you want only the ceremony? When I watch my video, I usually fast forward through the ceremony and love to watch the getting ready and the rest of the party.

We are on a pretty tight budget, and would rather spend the money on a great photographer. We just want to have the ceremony for posterity's sake. We're going to put disposable video cameras on the tables and my FH (who is great at editing on iMovie) is going to compile them on a dvd.

We actually purchased our own high quality video camera, that was easy to operate, I gave it to my uncle and he taped our ceremony and a lot of reception. We edited it, its great quality, and we got to keep the camera. If you have someone reliable who can hold a camera steady you might want to do this.

We did the same and it came out just fine. I wasn't in to all the 'set to music' and baby picture montage in the beginning (no offense to anyone) but I would rather spend money on other things.

We actually got a copy of our baby montage from our dj, loaded it to the computer and we put it in our video. But I think if you have someone reliable to tape it for you, go for it, saves you so much money.

I didn't want to pay a lot for a video either. When we met with the photog/video I asked how much it was for the ceremony only. They gave me a price for that and then a price for the whole day. I said I didn't want the whole day, and they threw in the whole day video for the ceremony only price!!!
