Video Question

Video Question

I was talking to FH about video, and what I like and the pricing. He's never been completely sold on video, but every person always says we wish we got video, so he was ok with looking around.

Well I was showing him some of the popular vendors available on our day and he is astounded that the pricing for videos are over $2500 for only 15 minutes of video.

Now he's having me doubt what I originally thought I wanted. What are you girls getting in your packages and what are your thoughts on video.

Really? Who did you inquire? Many photographers can do video for 1500-2500(45mins+). Some professional video guys, such as Chris LoBello, his price is a bit over 2500, but it is for a 45min-1hr edited HD dvd!

FM me if you want some quotes... I have inquired quite a few videographers...

WOW that's a lot of $$

I spent less than 2k for over an hour of video. My videographer spent 9 hours with me.

I just got my video today - I personally think my videographer did an AMAZING job.

Wedding Cinemmas - Pete is the owner. FM me for more details.

Re: Video Question

who only gives you 15 minutes? That's kinda crazy!!! I thought most places are with you the whole day, give you a wedding recap (4 or 5 mins) then give you about an hour video

Re: Video Question

Myther Ganibe's advertises that his videos are 12-25 min, Wild Rose does an 8-10 or a 40, but the 40 is double the price.

AJ is booked on our day, and everyone else is so damn expensive for what it seems like we're getting.

I have some emails in for some other people, but FH didn't like the few I showed him tonight.

UGH

Have you looked into Couped up? His pricing is reasonable. FM if you have any questions.

Re: Video Question

Couped up and GT modern creations are both booked on my day, as is AJ.

We upped our budget for video due to some unexpected cost savings in other areas but I'm still having trouble justifying these prices to times.

Anyone else?

How about Chris LoBello? He's reco'd by Janelle Brooke and I've watched a few of his videos and they are great.
