Video -reaallly short notice

Anyone know where I can get video fairly cheap really short notice for my wedding?

I really only want the ceremony and highlights of the reception.

I decided not to get a video, but I remember that Photo/Video Network had a good price.

Also, is there a Queens Bridal Center, or something like that? Because they did video too.

I am not into the video. I have asked a few people to bring their video cameras and catch the 'highlights' for me. One friend will be leaving his on a tripod (sp?) for the reception. Out of the way of course.

Have you tried craigslist.com?
Click NY on the right side of the screen and then event under services.... type in video in the keyword and see what comes up!

Try katemediainc.com. He does a nice job and will work with you. Plus he is is very low key and doesn't do anything cheesey.

I just got off the phone with my video guy and he said he has the date November 13th available. I figured I would call him first so you wouldn't have to waste all day calling different videographers.
The link to his website is www.jpivideo.com
I went with Joe and his company because he was reasonably priced, had quality work and he is so easy to work with. Good Luck to you.

Re: Video -reaallly short notice

My mom announced about a month and a half before the wedding that she really wanted a video, and she didn't want our family and guests to have to tape during the event, which is what we'd been planning to do. So I feel your pain!

We found a company on craigslist called Forever Video that has basic packages for less than $1000. The guy's name is Michael Zhu. I think he's on NSGraham's budget website, too. I believe the web page is forever-video.com.
