video unedited version
Got married July 20th. Still waiting for our video.I spoke to the video guy and he said that the edited version only was included but I want the unedited version too! How do they know what to edit out and leave in???? There might be something that's a family joke or something that we would appreciate and the photographer wouldn't.
They want another $40.00 for unedited version. I've spoken to other people and they all got both videos included. How did everyone else do it??????????????

Re: video unedited version
mine will not be included either----i asked that same question about what if something that i feel is important but they do not and it gets cut out--they said i will be able to see my unedited version and if there is something that i want to be included in the edited version that they would fix it & add it for me.....they said they are the professionals and you are paying a lot of $ -soooo--trust us-we have a good eye for that----so i did and i know it will be just what i want! fingers are crossed!!!

Re: video unedited version
We got married on Aug 3rd and Imagine Studios did our video. We got it back and Nelson told us if there is anything in particular that we do not want in the edited version, we should let him know after we haved viewed the unedited copy. They have been doing this for years so I left all the other pieces up to him. I know he will do a great job.

Re: video unedited version
I think about that too. If it were up to me I would love to sit there with them the whole day and make it myself.. lolStill, what if I had no vidio at all?
I'm thankfull that I can hire such professionals to vidio tape my special day. I'm sure they will get everything important on there for you.
Are we missing anything important if we didn;t know it was done or said in the first place?
I'm babling, I'm makeing no sence and I need sleep..
LOL

Re: video unedited version
Most will supply the unedited version for a fee ( I too, don't really understand this, but it seems it's like that pretty much across the board)I am paying an extra $100 for my unedited, I want it so I'll pay the extra.

Re: video unedited version
We got our unedited copy, as part of our pkg, along with 3 edited copy, 1 for us and 2 for the parents....that is not fair that they charge you to see everything that you were not able to see, that is what the unedited is about

Jen and Liz...I am feeling so silly tonight. That's how I feel about photogrpahers that want to charge you for your negatives after you have paid them already to shoot your day BOOOO...this is just my opinion and I am feeling so silly...maybe I should go take a shower, drink some Arbor Mist and go to bed...Liz you know that's my drink...thanks for all the bottles you've purchased for me
I just came in from the gym and I am still high on adrenaline

Re: video unedited version
Some places give you the unedited version to view and then they do the edited version. I am not sure if it makes sense to have it after the edited version is completed; unless, they are willing to reedit if requested

Re: video unedited version
My FH INSISTED we get the raw footage for some reason. I really don't see us watching hours of footage of our wedding but he HAD to have it. It cost $100 extra.

Re: video unedited version
You shouldnt have to pay Xtra for your raw footage. We got our raw footage, and viewed it and told us what we wanted pulled out of it. We got to keep the rwa footage, plus a master copy for us, and 2 copies...one for each of our parents.
