Hi, I see that videographers give you choices where to start filming. brides house and or grooms house or just at the church/ceremony. what are you doing?

Re: Video ?-where are you beginning your shoot?
Orginally I wanted to have the start at ceremonyl but then I saw the bridal house coverage when I met with Wild Rose and it was so beautiful that I decided to begin at the bridal house.

We're using Wild Rose Video and we've actually decided to start our video a month before the wedding. We're doing something called a 'love walk.' They are going to video us in our apartment and in our neighborhood and interview us a little on how we met and things like that. The thing is, we really like our neighborhood and apartment and know we won't be there forever so wanted a memory of the first place we lived together and all that. It's kinda cheesy but I think it's different and hopefully should come out real nice.

Tracyann: i think thats cute i didnt think of it that way i mean when i saw the 'love' walks I thought they were kinda cheesy like lip syncing or acting out something, but you guys just showing you in your everyday surroundings and the interviewing sounds cool, for me it is budget so I am not gonna do it either way, I also dont plan on having the videographer start at my house, I saw footage and wasnt really impressed, plus I have the photographer taking stills of me getting dressed and the videographer can always add a couple stills into the edit for you, for an extra $2-300 to me isnt worth it but it depends what you like. I would much rather have them stay till the end of the wedding when everyone is gettin down than start earlier, gotta weigh your priorities I guess, lastly and then I'll shut up, if you have the extra cash why not get as much live footage as you can, you can never relive the day like you can with the video. Good Luck!

I'm anticipating a ton of people at my mom's house that morning, so he'll just start filming at the ceremony - less stress for me that way! LOL
