I booked a videographer and I think I made a mistake. Is anyone using a videographer who is about 1000-1200$ No montages, growing up photos or any extras. Just the edited day. Nothing fancy.

My FH just left a message with the pros. I just checked their website and they offer a basic package for $795 which is 8 hours of coverage, in camera edit. There are other packages on that site that offer montages and all that good stuff.

My only concern is the quality....but at this point I want something cheap and affordable, I'll take what I can get!
Cassarino Studios is charging like $1695 for their basic package, which is what you are getting. Sooo I guess its a matter of whose style you like best. and what you think of their quality.
Are you having second thoughts because you think you are being overcharged or are you concerned with the quality?

We used Proline studios and did pay a little more then what you listed but it included everything,

I'm using Wedding Group One (they are located in the city and in Flushing)
We got a deal at the Great Bridal Expo this past Spring. Videography was $1200, plus tax/fees that go along with it, so roughly $1400. We really like the quality of their work, plus they would give us the DVD in a leather case that doubles as a picture frame (didn't know that until after we signed up, so it was a plus for us). FI thinks that basically you get what you pay for. My friends have used some cheaper under $500 videographers that have come out as if my little brother held a camcorder.
