I am really torn on getting a videographer. I want one, but I feel they are so expensive, and I'll probably watch it twice. I was going to have one of my brothers friends video the wedding. He would use my dads camera and I would write down all the things I definitly want taped. Good idea? I don't know what to do. Does anyone know any inexpensive videographers? I really don't think I even want it edited. I think that makes it cheaper too. What does everyone think? Thanks!!!

Re: Videographer ????
If you get an unedited video it will be cheaper.
How much are you looking to spend?

Re: Videographer ????
Try Duet Wedding Studios in Huntington. FM if you want more info. I think they would do a video with out editing for a great $. They probably could do one with editing for around $1000.

Re: Videographer ????
I am not trying to be cheap, but I would like to spend no more than $700 on a videographer.

Get one, you don't want to regret it later. I'm sure you can find a low-end package.

Re: Videographer ????
I think Duet offers a package with 'in-camera' editing for $800. I would try them, tell them what you want. They might be able to work with you to get into your price range.

I know VIP studios will do an unedited video for around $600. I would check it out. Talk to John.

Re: Videographer ????
Definitely get a video, everyone I know who decided not to get one regrets it! Even if you think you will only watch it twice it is still worth it. Ten years from now...fifteen years from now...you will so appreciate having your wedding day captured on video. My parents had their 8mm film from their wedding transferred to video a few years back and I LOVE watching it! Video and pictures are so important! Even if you get an unedited video or a low-end video, get a video!

Re: Videographer ????
Yes I agree with the rest get the video- theres nothing like watching your special day live and in color- I just watched my sons christening and he's 13 now- and i was brought to tears- i couldnt believe how much he had grown up- Im sure you can find a video for that much or utilize your friend if he knows what hes doing and hes going to be focused on taping and not partying
