I really like this videographer... Chris Leary from Wedding-Cinema. However i just got an email from him last night saying that he doesn't book weddings more than 6 months in advanced. What is that all about? So should i wait and hope that i get him? But what if he's not available and everyone else is already taken? (I think i'd be a nervous wreck if i waited 6 months prior to book a videographer)

Re: videographer dilemma
he probably does not want to book so far into the future because he may have events or other things that may come up, and therefore he would not want to cancel on a wedding. i know some vendors will not book more than a year in advance because of this.
can you ask him to just pencil you in as sort of 'reserving' the date, and once the six months mark comes up, he can call you first to book the date?

Re: videographer dilemma
Sounds fishy to me. My videographer has bookings for 2007 already. I would go to someone else if I was you.
