videographer help

i just came back from meeting bill and marie from wild rose their work is amazing- do you think im able to negotiate on the price

i also met with multi media video whose work is just as good and they were $ 600 less

any suggestions

Wild Rose has beautiful work, but I couldn't afford them. I ended up booking with JPI Video. www.jpivideo.com Check out there website, they are very talented and a bit more reasonable on price. Prices and clips are on the website. I feel they have really quality work. Good Luck.

I can not believe how much we are spending we are all nuts
But I still cant wait

everything is ridiculous im already over on the photography so id like to spend less on the video- im meeting multi media again on thursday- 600 is a big difference

i see your getting married at st paul the apostle is that the church in brookville- if so thats where im getting married

I have seen some places that offer video for 1000

also Vivid Images is photo and video for $1700

i guess we get what we pay for- im not looking at anymore place im going to decide between these two

but now i just read they make you do a lot of the work yourself???

i saw you posted about sherwood triart- i met with them and their packages started around 3800 for photos- their work is amazing- i went with jovon pace only because i didnt want digital photos and i met with the actual photographer at sherwood i met with a salesmen.

We are using Wild Rose. Negotiating is tough but their work is so amazing we tbought it is well worth the money. Think about it won't you watch your video all the time and show it to everyone including your children one day? That is how we are looking at it.

Twelfth Night is also wondeful and we are using them. What they mean by doing your own work is that they do mostly digital photo. Once you meet with Dom he will explain to you ways to cut costs by doing some of the work on Ofoto, snapfish etc. The way he does things is so reasonable when you think about it. Don't get discouraged...listen to him first.

I booked with 12th night and they don't make you pay for albums upfront along with the wedding costs. When the wedding is over they consult with you about whether not you want them to make the album for you, but if you would like to make your own, they will also help you with that as well. You won't be disappointed. Good luck!

single-camera coverage
they cover, ceremony go with you to wherver you are taking pictures, cocktail hour and reception. You get 3 edited VHS tapes with photomontage, honeymoon pictures, recap, and special effects (slow motion, black & white, sepia, 8mm old film style, etc.) and your choice of music.

The raw footage is not included, but may be purchased the cost for the raw footage is 100 on VHS and 175 on DVD

they said they are usually on a 10 hour basis if its over a 1/2 to an hour they normally dont charge overtime

you get singel camera coverage starting at the ceremony, then to wherever you are taking pics, then the coctail hour and reception. they give 3 VHS edited copies and 1 DVD edited copy- it includes the baby photos, montage, b&w, sepia, 8 mm, and honeymoon

if you want to buy the unedited video its 100 for VHS and 175 for DVD

this is based on 10 hours- they said they normally wont charge overtime unless its like 2 or 3 hours-
