Videographer Help!!

Videographer Help!!

I am in the search for a video company but I'm kind of picky and we don't want to spend more than $2K. We liked the work and price of Myther Ganibe but he's unavailable for our date.

I really want someone who shoots using a HD DSLR camera but I haven't found anyone within that price range.. I would like it shot in HD and I would like the ability to get Blu-Rays as well.

I really liked the style of Golden Moments and right now he's at the top of my considerations. We've also met with Infinite Productions and Fade to Black.

Please Help with suggestions!!!

WHy would you want someone shooting with a DSLR instead of a traditional HD video camera?

Try Couped Up

We're spending just a bit over $2000 for every possible bell and whistle. You could easily get a lot for under $2K.

Re: Videographer Help!!

I used Gil at Fade To Black.

We were VERY concerned about the equiptment he used and spoke to him about it since both me and my DH are video people.

He was great to work with and I know we got a fantastic video.

ETA- I was not clear after I read this. We too wanted to go with someone with good equiptment and were concerned after hearing other brides talk about what THEY went through with other vendors.

So, being concerned, we asked about what they used and were VERY happy with everything he has! He absolutly used HD and was great.

(The above read like we were concerned he used junk, not the case at all).

How was the quality? When he showed me the videos from the xbox thing in his office it wasn't that clear and some parts I noticed were blurry...I asked him for a DVD or good quality and he didn't have anything...he definitely gave us a good price and was a really really nice guy..

I looked at their web site and I liked they're work but I'm confused because it says like 8 cities across the country. They're a la carte menu with shooting and editing comes out to be like $2,300...

I'm FMing you....I'm really confused
