Does anyone know of an independent videographer (not part of a photo/video package) that costs less than $1400?

Definately look into Wild Rose Video, they are family owned, work out of their home. Their job is awesome, you can check out clips of the wedding videos they have done, I believe the website is: www.wildrosevideo.com Also, their prices are very reasonable with various packages to choose from. Good Luck!

We are using PennyLane Productions- they are a vendor on here and their work is excellent. They had a couple of packages to choose from.
i'm using treasure memories.. you customize your own package they are out in massapequa.. it's a husband and wife team.. they are sooo nice...

Pete from Wedding Cinema! He's great! We're paying $1100 for 7 hours of coverage, 3 dvds, bride/groom preparation, highlight section, music, and editing. He gives discounts if you mention LIWeddings and when he's 90% done with your wedding video, he'll give you the option of viewing it so that way you can make any changes if you want before its finished. That was the best!
