I thought that I didn't want to have a videographer because the videos always seem so cheesy, but after seeing some sample wedding DVDs last night, I've had a total change of heart.
Do you think it's possible to get a videographer for less than $1500? We booked a sort of expensive photographer with the assumption that we wouldn't have a videographer and didn't really budget for it.
I definately think you should have both. Photography is nice to have pics, to show, and a great memory. But, videography really captures the mood of the wedding.
If you can, go for both

I second that! Ray is doing my wedding and his work is great! Definitely check him out. He is under $1500.

Re: Videographer only?
ok i need a videographer who can do raw footage of the ceremony for about $500. i know that's probably rare or near impossible but i just want to remember the day and we already went over budget on the photographer we wanted...... anyway if someone knows of a place that can cut a deal, please let me know!! thanks!!
