Videographer Question

I have heard of the videographer starting at the church and I have also heard of him starting at the house during preparation. I was just curious as to everyone's thoughts....I am setting up a meeting with videographers and was just wondering everyone's opinion...

Re: Videographer Question

my video guy started video'ing the minute i got out of my car from getting my hair done.

he stayed up until the very end of the reception.

it was great. he had me talking to my dh and stuff before the wedding.

he also got amazing footage of me getting dressed and my bm's getting ready.

I'm using Wild Rose. With them, it depends on the package you pick. Obviously, the less time they are with you, the less money the package is. They are amazing though. I just saw my friend's video and it was awesome. It was even better than the ones they show you to sell themselves. They are a little bit more expensive than others but well worth it.

Re: Videographer Question

It depends on the photographer and your preference. Some photographers are very set on the time limits that packages include, so that may limit what he videos and can prevent him from shooting a lot of the house stuff. Others though are more than happy to accomodate and will come and shoot from the getting dressed to the end without charging you for extra hours.

I don't know if I want the videographer at my house to videotape me getting dressed, so I might just have him meet us at the church...
