Generally do they get paid their entire fee by the wedding date or do you pay 1/2 on the weding and 1/2 when you receive the video?
Im under the impression they get paid in entirety before the wedding.
Ours gets 1/2 before the wedding. and the rest afterwards.
We are also leaving half till after the wedding.
We're using Duet for both photos and video. Everything is due before/by the wedding except for 10% when the proofs come in.
Our video is 1/3 a few months before, 1/3 the week before/day of and 1/3 when we pick up the finished video.
I am not sure of the % but I know we dont pay in full until we get our video. For us we are paying in full when we get the raw footage since it is not normally included.
I am no help on this one we actually opted not to have one,which i think may have been a bad choice, still enough time to change our minds
