I met with a videographer yesterday & he mentioned that I have to pay him tax- I thought that was weird since my DJ company said that you dont pay tax on services- and my photographer didnt charge me any tax either. tia

We are paying tax. I think we are paying tax on just about everything.

Hmmm ... I do not pay tax on my band, I think I might on the photog. Maybe it's because they (photogs / videographers) give you a PRODUCT after the event whereas bands / DJs only perform and thus have no 'product' to give you besides the performance?

I just wanted to mention thta some vendors will drop the tax if you pay them in ALL CASH. You should ask & see what they say.
I did not pay tax on anything. None of my vendors refused this request other than my RH even though they originally agreed
