Videographers

I wasn't going to get a videographer but now I really want to have a video of our wedding day. If you guys don't mind, can you tell me how much you're spending on your video and who you are using? Thanks a lot!!

I am using Wild Rose, website: Wild Rose Video
They are fantastic. I'm paying $2100, dvd included. But they have many packages to choose from and can work with you on customizing your packages. Give them a call or shoot them an email. Marie will respond quickly.

Hi ,
I researched video alot and loved the quality that North Shore Video was offering me. I spoke with Michael Parissi, #516-367-3321, 8243 Jericho Tpke. Woodbury, NY.

I negotiated alot but I will be honest with you. I am paying $1475 for the following:

1- original unedited tape
3- edited copies
1- DVD w/ 8 chapters.

I get baby pics, full editing, full re-cap and honeymoon pics. All other videographers would charge extra for all the little details. They also come in custom made personalized label cases. I think it's worth the trip Hope this helps. Good luck !!

We booked with Platinum Video.

I LOVE my video - its so classic and elegant. The 8mm footage is amazing. I definitely recommend getting a video (I was on the fence about the idea) and I absolutely recommend Peter (though I believe his prices are over $2K now)

I am using Wild Rose Video also.
Our package with tax was $3100. I got the Pink Rose.
It includes:
1 camera man filming me at my moms
1 camera man filming FH getting ready at our apartment.
2 camera coverage at the church.
1 camera coverage at the recption and he stays till the end.
It includes 1 dvd, 3 vhs copies, color, black & white, sephia....check out their website tit ells you what the package has.

I went to Bellarino today! We spoke with Phil and he was awesome!

He showed us a video and it was just amazing, even my FH said it was one of the best he's seen! And he doesn't put his opinion into much of this planning - so I thought that was a plus!

He has four packages to choose from and you can mix and match things you like and don't like

Anyway, just wanted to let you know!

PS - I haven't booked them yet, but probably will... he was nice enough to hold our date for a week, no money down!

His prices were even more amazing!

OCTBRIDE, lol same with my FH. when it came to the video he was so into wild rose i was shocked. he went to college for editing & music (although his job now is totally different) he was so impressed with bill from wild roses editing he said lets book them now lol!

I have also booked Bellarino Video. I thought Phil was wonderful to talk to. We booked him in March for my Sept. 2004 wedding. His prices are very good for what you get. If you want to know what each packages contains and his prices, send me a forum e-mail.

We also used Pete from Platinum Video. We haven't seen our video yet, but from what I've seen, his work is beautiful and elegant. His work is definitely unique. You'll love it! I honestly think everyone should at least check him out when they're searching for a videographer because his style is so different than your typical videographer. We weren't going to get a video either, but we started looking at different companies, and Platinum Video was the last one we saw and we were blown away. We had seen a lot of companies, so we had something to compare it to. Basically, there is no comparison. Pete's work is absolutely gorgeous! It just gives you that warm, personal feeling when you watch it. Give him a try!
