So, I've decided that I want videography (goodbye budget ) So now I'm trying to decide who I'm using. I'm really leaning towards Timeless Treasures..I watched some of the sample videos and just wow..amazing..I'm afraid to mention video to FH's parents because I know they're going to want me to go with some guy they know who they say is amazing, as soon as we started looking at vendors they kept mentioning people and whatnot (mostly his mommy ). I'm afraid to go with anyone recommended by family because I fear that it will be craptastic! Now to be fair, I am willing to meet the video guy they were pushing..I'm just wondering who other people are using?
Also i forgot to mention Timeless Memories in the poll...argh! So I guess if you're going with them..select other! tee-hee

Re: Videography
Since we are not having dancing or the 'standard' reception things at our reception we are not going to have a videographer. We are just going to have a photographer for the church and for family pictures after.

Re: Videography
I just recently decided that I want a videographer, after discussing with FH (who doenst want one) and mentioning with my family (who also think they are a bit 'much') but after talking with friends who got married and said they were so happy to have them, decided i'm gonna get one. Don't know who yet cause i haven't even gotten a photographer... will see who offers what for how much.
I know what you mean though about not wanting to go to a family-recommended place... the obligation to go is there, but then you're weary about getting exactly waht you want, cause they're giving you a discount, and you dont want it to get back to family that you were a beotch.
sorry this wasn't much help..

Yeah I met with them for photography...they have great packages but I didn't like their photography so I'm not going to bother looking at their video
