im having issues...went on a few videographer websites and viewed samples and im not crazy about what im seeing
its alot like my photography dvd will look like: music background with montage of photos
did anyone book a traditional video package....just straight up recodring of the ceremony with actual voices and such??? or do you get that anyway (like a raw copy and also a edited artistic copy?)
if this makes any sense- please help!!!

Re: videography-traditional
From what I understand, and I can tell you more after I go looking at photographers in January, is that some packages just include the basic package of the full unedited tape. Nothing fancy, just someone taping the ceremony/reception. Another option, if you don't want any frills is to see if someone you know may be willing to tape everything. A lot of time, you're paying for the editing, artistic impressions, etc. GOod luck!

If you are looking for a traditional videographer I think that Pro Line is pretty good and I believe that they throw in the unedited copy...

When you go to pick your videography ask to see some samples of their recent weddings. And tell them exactly what you would like to have/see in your video.
I videographer I used, his style is in the beginning of the video he puts
1-baby pictures of the bride/groom 2-dating pictures 3-video of the bride at her house before the ceremony 4-video of the groom at his house before the ceremony 5-the cermony 6-photo location 7-the reception and also does a recap of the day
