Vienesse Hour question with Poll

OK - so for those of you having Vienesse hour, who is adding an hour on to the wedding and who is having viensse within the wedding..........

I am having some extra desserts that would usually be a part of a vienesse hour... we decided against the whole thing because ti wouldn't be an extra hour at our hall it would be during the regular 4 hours and I wanted people to dance a little, not be eating the whole time.

I added the extra time. I'm glad that I did! But, honestly, half of my guests left 20 minutes early. I guess they just thought the wedding was over...

I've got a question, is the Vienese hour worth the extra money? I figure that the guests are already full enough that it's not worth it.

My hall includes the vienesse hour within the 4 hours, so we made a deal, and thru in an extra hour, and got a good deal combining the vienesse hour and OT hour in...came out a lil cheaper then some halls I visited that were charging more for just the vienesse (as part of the 4 hrs)

Yea, you have to pay extra per person. I've been contemplating leaving it in. We added it to our package, but if we take it out, I believe we save $3pp (that's about $500 total). I think I might rather put in more food in the CH. Still trying to weigh out my options.

Yea, you have to pay extra per person. I've been contemplating leaving it in. We added it to our package, but if we take it out, I believe we save $3pp (that's about $500 total). I think I might rather put in more food in the CH. Still trying to weigh out my options.

Yeah, I'm trying to decide if it's worth is, because our hall charges $7 more pp for vienesse and I thought that was a little much...

keep the Vienesse hour. Leonard's does a fantastic job with it! My guests still comment about how great it was!

suven, I keep hearing the same thing about the vienesse hour. Just wondering if everyone left room for it. Because, it's A LOT of food to begin with, and then a huge thing of dessert? wow.

We are just having greek & italian pastries & cookies put on each guests table as well as espresso, cappucino & cordials.
We donot want to add an extra hour b/c of $$$ plus our wedding is a Sunday night.

We're having plates of pastries on the tables, as well as wedding cake, and I'm considering getting the chocolate fountain as something additional.

We are leaving it out due to money constraints, we would rather have the choclate fountain if we have extra money...plus most of teh vienesse is not eaten, but a lot of people like it...I would say add the 1/2 hr on though if I had to pick
