Do you think it's worth the extra money to have a viennese hour? I went to a wedding last night and everyone got so excited when the viennese hour came out, I was thinking about adding it on.

Re: Viennese Hour?
I think it depends on how your hall sets it up - If they have it in a separate room, go for it. - If they have to bring it out onto your dance floor- think twice. - it all depends on you and your guests though. My fiancee and I decided against it b/c our hall gives us SO much food and have a 'party crowd' so we didn't want another interuption.-

Re: Viennese Hour?
My hall is having it in another room - right across from my dance room - so we are going to have it...

i had it and everyone seemed to love it. but i think you can do without it. i had it on my dance floor but they left it out foir a little while and then broke it down to smaller tables around the room so my party didnt stop and the dance floor was filled with dancers again

I am doing it! I love it and it is pretty much an expected thing at my family weddings. So we didn't even think twice about it.

I love it!!! I wish my hall did a full vienese hour. But we are getting the mini option, where the put trays of cookies, furit and pastries on the table.

Re: Viennese Hour?
Our hall wants $10 pp extra for it!! There will be so much other food there, who needs more dessert? NOT worth it for us.

Re: Viennese Hour?
Nah...our hall charges $10pp extra for it. We're already having so much food, in my opinion it's a waste of money. I've seen so much desserts left untouched at weddings that have the Viennese display because everyone was too full to eat any more. We're having dessert trays on every table with our wedding cake. I think that's good enough.

missmmpr Thats great that your hall isnt charging. Most make it an added cost. Mine is $8 per person.

Re: Viennese Hour?
I personally think it is a waste of $$$. My hall gave out pastries, cannolies and friut at the tables along with the cake, and think that is enough
