Viennese hour (or Venetian I think)???

Before I signed my contract I didn't realize I didn't have the lavish dessert hour in the end. Now I want it and they are quoting me between $10-$12 extra per person for this lavish display of desserts. I'm going back and forth on it. I want it but my FH says it's a waste of $$ and food. What do u guys think? Are any of you having it and if so how much more is it if you don't mind me asking?

I really wanted one but my FH didn't. He said it would be too much money for desserts. The hall will serve ice cream with the cake though.

Nothing to do with Vienesse Hour but...

I just had to add my 'italian' family comments. One of my FH's family, who shall remain nameless, think that we are SAVING money by having our wedding at a private club in midtown Manhattan as opposed to the catering halls in Brooklyn. That one really made me mad!

I am having canolli (spelled wrong I know) brought in from Brooklyn for my wedding so each table will have a tray of those, cake and another desert.
It depends on how much food you are having with your meal, the family you have, and time of your wedding. Oh, and if you can afford it or not.

Jenny you totally crack me up- I thought I was the Queen of money being thrown out the window. I am glad to see there you are out there too. Perhaps a support group should be formed.
