Re: Viennese Table
Well my family wants one but I need to know if I should get one. If I do it would come with an ice cream bar, assorted french and italian pastries, chocolate dipped fruit display, vienna cake and pie selections, international coffee and cordials, hot chaffing dishes and cooking station. It seem like alot.

hmmm i kinda don't know what you're asking like something specific i mean
do you want to know if its worth it? well i got it so my answer will be yes but also if its something you're not sure you want or don't want to spend the money on it then definitely don't do it.

Re: Viennese Table
it also depends on your RH i always wanted the last hour to be just dancing and partying and if the last hour is going to be a VH, sometimes its in another room so your guests leave or go in and out and other RH's they set it up on the dancefloor - so i def. dont want that

Re: Viennese Table
I'm confused about your question. Are you asking if it IS all of those things? Or if you should get it? I think, yes, it is all of those things plus cordials, etc. I'm having a full Viennese hour so, yes, I think its totally worth it, but I'm fat and I like to eat food. Plus, if I didnt have it my Italian family would be saying 'Heather didn't have a viennese hour!' for years to come...

if its worth it for me, will that make it ok if you dont feel its worth it? what i mean is i would go with JUST how you feel about this. None of us can make that decision for you.
Yes its nice to have, guests do love it but at the same time its something that a wedding can do without if you dont want to added extra expenses. Whats worth it to me might not be worth it to you and vice versa.

Re: Viennese Table
youll see many views on here...Some who say they couldn't picture not having a VH at their wedding and others who think it is a waste of money.

Re: Viennese Table
for me personally, for $6 a person i would rather add a more expensive entree as a choice or another station at CH by the time dessert comes, people are stuffed, tired, and some are leaving
dont get me wrong i love it at the weddings i've gone to, but i'd rather have dessert than food LOL
also, my BM told us not to he said the cake and cookie platters on the tables were enough

Re: Viennese Table
yep Fox Hollow is an additional $6.00 pp..
Personally, if i could afford it i would get it.. but FH just bought a new truck and thats about 3 months car payments.. I am happy enough with CH & entree options.. that was important to me.
Good Luck !

you can do just an ice cream sundae bar then, many have just that option. I know my RH has a canoli ice cream sundae bar something like that. Your RH probably does some type of sundae bar so ask them about it
