view on the hudson?

I did a search on The View on the Hudson and couldnt really come up with anything(or anything that is current) someone on here got married there a while back but I couldnt find her review...

Has anyone heard of this place? Ever been there? If so, what do you have to say about it? I saw it on Wedding Sites and Services, and FI and I are going to look at it this weekend.

Yes, I was there in Feb for an engagement party. Unfortunately, it was for my mom's 70 year old cousin, so it was the worst party I have ever been to, but that was more a result of the senior citizen cruise entertainment than of the place itself.
The view was gorgeous, overlooking the Hudson River and the Tapanzee Bridge. It was a bit off the beaten track, but the directions on the website were easy to follow.
I thought the place itself was a little small and did not care for the decor in the ballroom (lots of chandeliers and stuff) The staff was very nice, and the food was pretty good. The bar was outside the reception room, so if you wanted a drink you had to walk out of the party.
The CH was pretty lame, but that was probably what they had paid for; it was just a few trays on a small table of vegetables and stuff.
THe bathroom was nice.
