Viewing your dress for the first time

When you went to view your dress for the first time did you try it on? or are you there strictly to make sure it's right?

I just went to see my dress. They will not let me try it on untill my fitting. They do not want me to make an appointment until august. It's nice to see you dress because it is so different than the dress you tried on. More beautiful and it is so white!!!!

Went to see it and tried it on. Just to make sure its perfect. Went back 2 months later for first fitting. YOu bought it you have the right to try it.

I tried on my dress. But I just got the card in the mail about 2 weeks ago that the dress was in...when I went to the fitting they clearly had my dress there since 2 months ago.

I wasnt going to try it on but whenI got there I couldnt help myself! It was the first time I was trying it on true to my size. The sample was 2 sizes too small, so this was a relief! =)

I tried it on. They thought the length was off- and it was ordered with a hollow to hem measurement and could not be hemmed. But all was well and the length was fine!! Try it on! And take pics!

I tried it on just to make sure it fit! I was not planning on it but i decided to when i got there...
i said to myself if i dont try it on and when i start my fittings it will probably be to late to order a new one... i felt better that i did!

When I went to see it I tried it on. They said I had to try it on incase there was anything wrong they would send it back.

i wanted to try mine on because i ordered it in white and the store only had an ivory sample, so i wanted to make sure the color looked ok on me. my store (lynbrook bridal center) did not have a problem with that they just asked that i make an appointment to do so.

my first viewing was a fitting as well cause the dress only came in a little over 2 months before the wedding!

I did not try it on, but told her I'd have to come back before the first fitting to try it with the veil and jewelry, since I may need time to order stuff. My fitting isn't until September, wedding is Oct 12.
Basically, I just made sure it was the right dress in the right color.

yes, i tried it on to make sure it fit and tried on some veils as well.

I tried mine on the first time I saw it, just to make sure it was the right length and size. It fit perfectly and luckily I need no alterations, just a bustle!!

They would not let me try it on-I really wanted to make sure it was correct...wish they had let me try it on but oh well

I just tried mine on a few days ago when it came in - AND IT HAS HOLES IN IT!!! The beads caught on the skirt in shipment. I cried. They are rushing me a new one, but it is very upsetting. SO GO INSPECT IT ASAP!!!
