Re: Villa Brides!

Hi ladies,

So it was a bit of a disaster leaving my house, we were 45 minutes late, and I forgot my camera of course and forgot our checkbook to give our gift.. Had some minor babysitting issues. Sorry to disappoint you. :(

Anyway, we got there, and the couple getting married didn't have a cocktail hour, they had a buffet style dinner. It was very nice, the buffet was set up in a room off the main room. It wasn't in that room where they normally do the cocktail hour where it is enclosed in glass. I hope you guys know what I'm talking about. The buffet was like a really big cocktail hour. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. They had a raw bar and sushi station which was great, FH and I made two trips up just for that stuff.

The room where we were eating dinner was beautiful, and the tables were set up around the dance floor, DJ was at the end of the dance floor, and there were two bars at each end of the room. The tables were round and there were 12 of us at the table. It was a little squished, so I would say 10 would be about the max. Everyone was dancing and having a great time.

Overall it was very nice the service was excellent and Villa Lombardis is beautiful! I don't think you guys have anything to worry about! If you want to know anything else let me know!
