anyone going there an hour before cockatail starts to take pics? My bmanager said I could do that for my family pics so I dont miss out on the cocktail hour but there is another wedding going on before mine so how does that work?

Kim - We did that. The other bride also has the same option so she will most likely be in the bridal suite or in her CH while you are taking your pics. Also, the photographers know how to coordinate it so if one is inside, one will be outside or one will be to left and the other to the right. I thought it worked out great becuase this way DH & I were able to have a few minutes alone in the bridal suite that go to our CH. Plus you do not want to miss out on the food at the CH.

You're wedding is on a Saturday right? My wedding was Friday, and we were allowed to go there alittle before one hour prior to cocktail hour. Our cocktail hour was 8pm and we arrived at Villa by 6:15 about and everything went fine and very smoothly. Villa Lombardi's says that you are only supposed to be there 1 hour before the cocktail, but just tell your photographer it's ok and u spoke to them [even if u didn't] and then arrive at Villa alittle before, maybe even 2 hours before the Cocktail Hour and start shooting pix! They CAN'T say anything to you! There getting ALOT of $ and no one will EVER DARE say anything to 'the bride!' LOL Good luck!
And make sure you take pix in the back & the front of Villa [if u want]. My photographer never took me in the back by the Gardens and I was SO MAD!
