Just wanted to know for those of you who ordered their gowns from Village Bridals, if they came in when they said they would. I ordered mine in February and they said expected delivery would be August 6th. I called about August 12 and they said they would call when it came in. I'm not panicking because my wedding isn't until April. Is this normal? TIA

I did not get mine from Village Bridalbut mine came in about 2 weeks late bc the delivery date got pucshed back. Did they contact the manufacturer?

My sister ordered for an '08 wedding and they told her the dresses would be in way sooner than they were. I believe they may hold onto their orders until it gets closer to the wedding. I would make sure the order was placed. The flower girls' dress came in 2 weeks before the wedding. Not to make you panic because we did get everything, dresses were great, just don't tell a bride a specific date if you don't mean it!

i ordered mine from VB and it came in just a few days after they said...i wouldnt worry about it. dont use the seamstress there if you can help it though, she was incredibly difficult to make an appointment with for my girls and me, and she didn't alter my dress properly and it ended up fitting poorly. what can you do right?
