Vineyard Caterers

Hey Girls...

The FH and I are going out to Vineyard Caterers tomorrow and was wondering if anyone had anything good or bad to say about it. We're planning on having the ceremony and wedding there in June 2009 w/about 100-150 people. The grounds look beautiful but i'm a little leery about the ballroom since the ceilings look very low and i have that closed in feeling. Any comments would be greatly appreciated before we make the ride out there tomorrow =)

Okay....well I got married there on July 1st and have nothing but AMAZING things to say about EVERYTHING!
Bill is the manager there and he is wonderful and very accomodating.
I can see why you would think the ceilings look low because of their website picture but when you're in the ballroom itself, you don't get that feeling at all...
The food was out of this world...Johnny the Matre D was just so caring and unbelievable (he made it a point to make us eat while taking some pictures there and brought out delicious cocktail hour food to us on the grounds. And the grounds.......oh man! We have the most beautiful bunch of pictures because it was just so perfect, July 1st had to be the best day for those grounds cause every single flower was in bloom....just perfect. So I'm sure you're going to love it so much, good luck...I so wish I was going there again!

We checked out VC because FH's cousin got married there and he loved it so much! And we just fell in love with it, the only reason we didnt book was because of the location.

But FH's other cousin is getting married there in less than a year!! I am so excited to go to a wedding there!!!!

First, let me say...You will pick the place you love regardless of any opinions and this is how it should play out...It's your day and what you love you will make happen...I loved the CH room and the outside...Thought it was really pretty, but I didn't like the ballroom. I thought it had no wow effect and this is really what I was looking for. You can get a great price there so make sure you negotiate the hell out of them. I really love the place, but its just a little over my budget, blah, blah, blah.....Good Luck....

Re: Vineyard Caterers

We are getting married there in August. So far, So good. I love everything about the place. The grounds are OUT OF THIS WORLD. The place is laid back and not glammed up. However, that is the POINT of the place. My FH and I both don't like glitz so this was perfect for us. Plus, Bill was awesome. We went to several places before booking VC. Most banquet managers (especially one in particular) were BEYOND pushy. Bill said to us, 'Listen you need to look around at many places before you decide because you guys need to find out what works for you.' We were sold. The down to earth vibe works for us. I know that on our day that we will not feel like jsut another wedding couple through the wedding mill. I can not tell you all the good things I have heard about them. I am biased though. Do your research and do what you WANT. VC was the only place that when I closed my eyes I could picture my FH and getting married at. It was an iry experience because when you walk into the RH, you just know. Good Luck with whatever you choose. Make sure you look at many places before making your decision.
