Vineyard caterers review
I went to a weddng yesterday at the vineyard caterers and just had to rave about it! The coctail hour was incredible! We were out side for the coctail hour on the deck overlooking the nicely manicured grounds and vineyards. It was breathtaking! The food was plentiful and GOOD! THey had different stations set up at each end of the deck. I also liked that they had enough tables and chairs set up so everyone can sit down and enjoy their food instead of trying to balance their drink and plate while they ate.
After the coctail hour we were led to the dining room, which was very nicely decorated. The bride had named each table after the different wineries. Each table had a low centerpiece and a bottle of wine from the vineyard it was named after. (I stayed almost until the very end of the reception and was surprised to see that the bride/groom did not tell us who was supposed to take the centerpiece/bottle of wine home- everyone at my table were arguing over who would take it). But that is only minor. The room also had a doubble staircase which the bridal party, MOB/FOB, MOG/FOG, and bride& groom walked down to make
their enterence (the women walked down one side of the stairs and the men on the other). It made for a nice enterence.
After the BM, GM and parents were announced and made their enterance, the bride & groom had made a video for them as a surprise for their paretns. It was all pictures of the birde and groom when they were young all the way through when the first met, dated, and got engaged. There was not a dry eye in the place! I thought this was a great idea! Everyone loved it.
They had a band, but I don't know who it was. They were good and kept the party going. They played a nice mix of old and new songs.
The food was good. They had a choice of chicken stuffed with spinach and some kind of cheese, prime rib, and salmon. My fh had the salmon and said it was just OK. I had the chicked and thought it was good. Another couple had the prime rib and said it was good, but they had better.
Overall, I was impressed with the place. I was surprised to see that the vineyard caterers was not as large as it looks in the pictures on their website. I thought it was much bigger, but it was still very lovely. I would definately recommend this place!
