Vineyard November '01

Has anyone ever been to Vineyard Caterers in November? My fiance and I were planning on getting married there next summer, but there is a date available in November of this year, so we're considering doing it then. We're worried that the vineyard won't look as green and beautiful as it looked last month when we visited it. Also, what do you think about planning a wedding in three months??? Am I crazy?

I am getting married at Gristina VIneyard. The lady told me that the grapes are not as pretty in the fall. She said the best time is June and July. Good luck! P.S. I have friends that planed their wedding in 4 months and they had no problems; however I would not try to do it. Too much work for me!

I am getting married there on November 3rd of this year. We really wanted to get married in the fall. We are out East all year round b/c my FI's mother has a house in Cutchogue and we love the autumn there!! The colors are beautiful. The grapes are already harvested and the vines are not as green, but the colors of the trees are georgeous. Good luck in your decision!!

It all depends on how late in November you are planning. The weather can be great in early November. However, I have visited the wineries in late November and it is very gray. Also, the days are shorter in November too. It just seemed very dark.

We've got the date booked but I think we're definitely cancelling because we need to change the date. So, if you want the vineyard for next summer - I can let you know when we officially cancel (probably this weekend). I hope this helps!

No thanks. We're only expecting 100-120 guests so the evening would not work for us. I think we'll stick with this November. Thanks anyway.

Actually, I am going for my first fitting tonight. I bought the sample dress so I have had it since last November. I am in the process of creating the address labels for my invites and will probably send them out the last week of August. How are you doing?

We are not getting a video. We are purchasing our own new digital video recorder instead so that we can take it on our Honeymoon. We are using Imagine Studios for our photography.
