I am looking to take pictures in between the church and reception at a vineyard not far from East Wind. I went to one and they want to charge about $25 per person plus tax. Does anyone know of one near East Wind that either does not charge or charges less? You get appetizers and wine included in the price, but we really do not need that since we will be having our cocktail hour about an hour later. We are interested in buying wine from them for favors as well, so I was hoping they would be a little more accommodating.

If you are going to use them for your favors I would definetly talk to them again. If you are spending a reasonable amount on favors from them I think they should try to work with you. Use the spin that you will also be advertising for them but giving out their products as a gift. If they don't, I would bring your business elsewhere in my opinion. I'm sure someone would take you up on that offer! Good luck!

Which place is this that is charging? Palmer is always so nice not sure if they charge for pix but I'm pretty sure they have the lowest site fee around so it may be worth checking out

Thanks...I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking this is unreasonable! The vineyard I was looking at is Baiting Hollow Farm and Vineyard. Thanks for the Palmer idea, but unfortunately it is too far from East Wind. We can't go too far in order to be back in time.

Most places I looked at charged. It's actually why I decided not to do vineyard pics.

Have you tried Roanoke? They're not too much further East from Baiting Hollow and they're not as much of a madhouse as BH usually is. :)
