How many songs does he guarantee he will play? Just curious. I havent even met with him - plan on it soon.

I never asked Vinny to guarantee any set amount of songs, just the 'must haves' like the first dance, cake cutting, last dance, parent dances etc. He stuck to my list, and the general area of music we asked for, and did a fantastic job.
I guess I am a little confused about the guarantee thing, I haven't heard about it before now. I also don't know how that is enforceable- what if you run late and are two short of the guaranteed #? Do you get money back? KWIM?

Me too............ what's the deal with a guaranteed amount of songs? I would think you'd give him your song lists, specific songs for different special dances/things like first song, father/bride, mother/son. Cake cutting, Introductions song. What NOT to play. Keep the party going through the night with songs you want to hear. Maybe someone who has used guarantee of more songs with a vendor can give us more info.

Im not sure. Ive never heard of it until LIW. One woman said she didnt book Vinny because of his guarantee. So, I figured Id ask because I want to book Vinny.
