His prices are SO LOW, and he has a few really great reviews on here. I meet with him next week...he is willing to travel to NYC to do so! I am just wondering WHY his prices are so reasonable, and if anyone has anything to say about their experience with him. Thank You!!

his prices are low because he works out of his home, so he doesn't need to charge more to pay for the overhead of running an office. we booked him for our wedding.
He was really nice and his prices are fantastic! There are alot of great reviews for High Voltage on here. The only reason I didnt go with him is I fell in love with Bravura's video and his equipment was all set up and it was 'high end' stuff.

I used Vinny for my wedding and he was fantastic. I remember when he told me his prices I thought that something had to be up, but then we met him. He came into NYC to meet with us. He explained that because he works out of his home his prices are lower. I cannot recommend him enough.

We are using Vinny too - I've also heard great things (thanks Heidla for confirming!) about his services and was also told that prices are so low b/c he does not have an overhead charge (storefront, etc)

I have come across a descent number of vendors who work out of their home. It really makes such a difference in their pricing. And just because they don't rent a store doesn't mean they don't do excellent work. Vinny is great!

I wondered the same thing because all the other DJ's and vendors were so expensive, it's almost like, you expect to pay alot - which is ridiculous for 5 hrs of service, if you ask me. Basically you can tell he doesn't have a lot of overheard - advertising, store space, lots of other DJs to employee, it's basically him, his assistant, he works out of his home, so his prices are lower than everyone else. Some of these other companies try to push more items that you don't need so they can make a certain amount for that day-it's like I don't need an mc and a DJ for 100 guests, the DJ can do both, I don't want anyone on the floor. Vinny has been getting great reviews, so I think that should take away any doubts you may have.

I chose Vinney and while I feel bad for not choosing a house dj I am glad because it is saving me so much more money and he is so nice.
