I want to compromise and have a vintage-inspired wedding, so that I could incorporate both new and old trends and fashions into a (hopefully) beautiful, whimsical, and charming design. Any ladies planning on having a vintage inspired wedding here?
I found vintage wedding gowns. They are beautiful but I already ordered mine...
so pretty. i am having my wedding at milleridge cottage. i thought of the idea of a vintage wedding, given the setting, but my wedding is now 3 wks away (i thought of it about 2 wks ago) and i dont' think i can pull it off - too little time. oh well
i had to force myself to stop looking at wedding dresses b/c there are so many gorgeous ones out there that would be good for me too, but i picked the one i picked and am sticking with it...kind of like a man! LOL

Re: Vintage Wedding...
check out the profile for vintagegirl - she did a wonderful vintage theme. It was gorgeous. Finger waved hair, beautiful birdcage veil, etc.

Re: Vintage Wedding...
Vintage can be done with the ultra modern dresses too. It doesn't have to be expensive and it doesn't have to be detailed.
Its going to be about the overall look, not just your dress.
VintageGirl (who is also my wedding photog ) did a really nice job keeping it simple fresh vintage.
