Can anyone give me any input on the VIP? I fell in love with the vanderbilt but found out the food was not really good. Has anyone been to VIP and can give me some feedback? Thanks.

I live 5 mins from there....I think the place looks very nice..love the circle driveway. But what I dont like is its on the water yet you have 0 views of it! My friends went to a wedding there 2 weeks ago and they didnt feel it was great by any means...but also I think the ppl who got married tried to do it as low key as possible (for $$ reasons)

I'm getting married there. You can go on beach grounds for pictures. I have my tasting on March 13. I have heard great things from prior brides

i am getting married there too! Talk to Tom - he is WONDERFUL. I never went there before looking for a RH and when I went it took my breathe away. It is elegant and decorated very tastefully. The other option on the strip is Surf Club but I felt like karen hill when I walked into the place (goodfellas).
My family and friends have said that the food is excellent and the service is terrific. You do get a view of the water BUT not as big as the other places on the strip. Yes you can take pics at the beach FM me if you have any more questions/

I have seen the outside and I really liked it. My FMIL & FFIL recently went to a weding there and loved it!

This was my 2nd choice as a RH. It's a BEAUTIFUL and amazing entrance way and I LOVE cocktai hour. The only thing that threw me off was the rooms. In 1 room the chandelier wasn't in the middle of the dance floor and the seating and dancing area was AAAALLL the way to the right and there was nothing on the left.
In the other room it was nice but I didn't like how the DJ wasn't against the wall and the bar was behind him.
I hear the food is amazing and the price was good too.

Im getting married there. I have not been to a party there but have heard so many great things about them. So far everything has been great You can take pics at the park right on davenport. I also got a permit to take pictures at a park that is beautiful and like 20 mintues away.

The cocktail hour there is terrific :) I didn't consider it though b/c I had an issue with the seating, I always felt like I was sitting too far back from the dance floor with the way the tables were set up. I guess it depends on how many people you are having at your wedding though.
