Virginia ladies... again :)

Virginia ladies... again :)

Few more questions...
anyone have any opinions on these apartments?

Brookville Townhouses
Virginia Village

We're also considering Elms at Kingtowne (loved it), but we know how that one is.

Also, know any good apts in Annandale?

We're back to the drawing board with our apartment. They won't take rabbits so we have to keep looking. I'm so stressed I need to buy some wine and get drunk alone tonight! LOL Maybe i'll go buy some shoes.

My uncle lives in Reston, VA and likes it. He has been there for at least 10 years.

My friend just moved out of the Elms at Oakton (pretty sure all the Elms are owned by the same group). She really enjoyed living ther (besides her roommate ).

I don't know anyone that has lived at the other two though.

It has to be in or near Alexandria. DH works in DC now so he doesn't want too long of a commute or not be near a metro.

Well it depends where you are. My friends live in Old Town, Alexandria and its a gorgeous area...just like georgetown but even more of an antique feel..even the CVS there is made to look like a little boutique :)

I am in arlington and i love it..such a good area. I'm sorry i can't help you with the other places!! Not that familiar..i've lived here about a year and would stay forever if i could...though i do miss NY.

well we are. :)
There are very nice areas in Alexandria and we pretty much know which ones they are.

We were considering Arlington but it seems a lot more expensive than Alexandria. We need to be able to save.

oh ok. I think you had questioned ALexandria once before. I think just like any other towns there is good & bad. I don't want you to think I'm being judgemental.

I was questioning certain AREAS of Alexandria. We know some from friends living there, but there are some we're not familiar with.
But we are also looking just outside of Alexandria, but it can't be far. I LOVE Kingstowne.

Ok, looks like we'll be living in Falls Church. Dh found a really nice apartment right off Leesburg pike, and they accept all kinds of pets.

I've only passed through Falls church on our way to Potomac falls, and it seemed like a nice area. I trust DH.

Thanks for your help

Falls Church is a good area. I live in Arlington right now and will be moving into FH's house in Falls Church next month. It's convenient to a lot of areas.
