FH and I each have to have a visa for our honeymoon to Brazil. Its $130 each!!!! So we have to shell out $260. Its our honeymoon so its fine. but I thought that it was valid for 5 years and FH just told me its only good for a year or 6 months. And i had been thinking we would use it again in like 2 years and go visit his family in Riio or Sao Paulo. Im just annoyed, but Ill get over it when Im sitting on the beach in Brazil drinking a caipirinha.

wow! that's a lot! I completely forgot about visas -- we're going to Paris for HM - I think I need to get that European visa thing ... does anyone have any info???

You don't need a visa for France, unless you're staying for more than 90 days (might be 60 days, it really depends on the country.) Your passport is enough.

I need to get my passport renewed and FH needs to get one period - it will cost us $160. I think that is crazy! And visas are even more!

Are you sure they are only good for a year or six months? I thought they were good for like 10 years. My FH had one that he got 10 years ago and it is just expiring now
