Visited Burtons & Flower Barn Today!!
Hey girls... I did it! I visited Burtons & Flower Barn today all by myself! ![]()
Haha...I was so proud of myself!.... and nowwww for the info!
Burtons: I had NO idea where to park when I found the place! Haha... but they were very friendly inside. (there were a few brides there...it did seem like a 'wedding flower factory'... Not glamorous or anything, but decent with good prices and the flowers were deff fresh! The guy I spoke with was willing to work with my budget. He didn't give me an entire quote to take home...just some chicken scratch on the back of his business card... hmmm![]()
Approx. Pricing: $3000
Flower Barn: I have to say that I met with Michael - and he was so very very sweet! They have GORGEOUS flowers...and he hand makes each BOK himself! (He really loves his work) He took down all my info, and spoke with me about what I really want, what I really need, and what I'm willing to take out if I can't fit it in my budget. He was very calm, and there weren't a hundred people running around.![]()
He explained everything to me...even down to how he could make my centerpieces look the way I want (without spending insane amounts of $$$) and also down to how many flowers he would use for the mothers', grandmothers', and fathers' corsages and whatnot. Before I left he wanted me to see the difference in his flowers, so I looked around and he gave me a long stem rose to take home (and see how long it lasts) and a beautiful steffanotis (??spelling) with the sworvski crystal in it to take home! ![]()
He priced out everything, and then gave me a discount, as well as copies of the entire quote to take home. (also including all the petals I needed for the isle and tables, and decorating the cake, and all the votive candles!)
Approx. Pricing: $3100
I couldn't believe that at such an amazing place he was only charging me $100 more than the other place!!! I was sooo happy that I called my mom and almost cried!
I still have another appointment with Flower Michele on Friday... so we'll see how that goes... but I just wanted you girls to know what an amazing experience I had today at FLOWER BARN WITH MICHAEL!!! If any of you are still looking for a Florist - go see him!!!![]()
