Visited My Church!

So I actually dragged myself out of bed yesterday to go to see St. Paraskevi, all decorated how it will be next year. We wanted to make sure all the decorations would be out first weekend in December, and it was beautiful!

Each pew had a hanging bough of pine with ribbon and sugared fruits, and the icon screens had a matching swag with fruits over each saint, with a connecting arch between each side. The steps to the altar were covered with pointsettas and other floral arrangement, and there was a lit tree with victorian style ornaments all over. It was so perfect, and nothing extra needs to be done at all, there wouldn't even be room to do anything.

I actually started to tear a bit. Geez, I guess I do have a heart or something after all I'm so excited to see how my beautiful pictures are going to come out!!!
