North Ritz Club (I may not meet their min) Stewart Manor CC The Woodlands Fox Hallow CC The Riviera @ Massapequa Long Island Marriotte Sand Castle (anyone have any outside ceremony pics?)
Any other goodies anyone knows of? Nassau County's the priority. I have a few select Suffolk places, but we'd both prefer Nassau. I'm looking 100 people, outside wedding, but indoor accomodations as well (the marriotte would only be indoor I know, but we can dress that up nice) and under $100 per person. Not a Saturday night obviously. Food has to be GREAT - I mean GREAT! I know my avatar says 10/8/06 - but we are open to anywhere from May through October '06. Spring may be a nice time of year - as long as my allergies don't act up.
If I look in Suffolk at all it will be at Brentwood CC Villa Lombardi's East Wind West Sayville CC

Re: Visiting halls
I know you said you were looking specifically for Nassau halls but the Harbor Club in Huntington seems to fit the bill.

Re: Visiting halls
I remember the Swan Club having a room for a 100 person wedding too.

What about CLM-I know they are in Suffolk but they seem to fit all your other requirements

Re: Visiting halls
I definitely recommend Jericho Terrace. And Mike Closs, he's just amazing...the outdoor picture area is really nice and the room for 100 people fits up to 150 (I'm having 105). Good luck!

Re: Visiting halls
Can't do swan club - long story, and Jericho Terrace doesn't do outdoor ceremonies (the only reason I'm considering the Marriotte is b/c FH has like a million Marriotte rewards points so we may be able to get an amazing cut on the price) but the others sound good... keep the ideas coming if you know of others....

Oh and I'm adding Woodbury CC to my list, think I left that off in the first posting.

Re: Visiting halls
I've been to weddings at Fox Hollow and the Riviera, both are beautiful places. I checked out the Woodlands and it's definitely over $100 a head no matter what night, but I loved it there. It was my second choice for a hall.
Westbury Manor is also beautiful. And Chateau La Mer is in Suffolk, but is right on the water and is gorgeous. They do ceremonies outside.

Re: Visiting halls
I hear Westbury Manor is expensive or else they would most definitely be on my list. I went to a wedding there and it was really nice, but I've heard that it's pricey regardless of the day. If that's not the case let me know and I'll put it back on the list...

A friend of mine got married there in March of '04 and paid under $100 a head, prices may have gone up. She also had a lot of guests, so maybe that's why she got a good per head price.

Re: Visiting halls
Try Thatched Cottage in Centerport. It's on the water, does outdoor ceremonies and ch. We looked at the larger room, but they have a smaller room, too. I don't know what the minimum is.

Re: Visiting halls
Considering the places you have on your list to visit in Suffolk, you might want to try Majestic Gardens and Miller Place Inn. They both have beautiful areas outside to get married in and the food is OUTSTANDING!

Re: Visiting halls
You might want to look at Deseversky - they have a low min and if it is not a Saturday night then they may be more flexible with the price (I think for the dates you are looking at they are around 115pp - but I would chech it out and see if that is negotiable). The great thing about this place is that it is a historical mansion and you will have the entire place to yourself! They only host 1 wedding a day and it is catered by the culunary school so the food is fresh and fantastic! Also, it is in Nassau County.
I hear Bridgeview yacht club has great food (we are having our EP there is a couple of weeks) and they were quite reasonable.
Good Luck!

Westbury Manor is definitely under $100pp.. FM if you want more details. We are doing our ceremony and CH outdoors (hopefully!) and the reception is indoors. They have been great to work with so far, and it is really beautfiful there. Of course, I am biased, but you should definitely add it to your list!!

Lombardi's on the Sound (formerly Port Jeff CC) - beautiful, I loved it and would do it there again in a heartbeat!

Re: Visiting halls
i third the harbor ckub in huntington - but i'm biased since i am getting married there in 3 weeks (OMG -3 WEEKS)
they do one wedding at a time, and can have the ceremony inside or outside, and the views of the harbor are beautiful....
in case you are not familiar with the place here are some pics of the outside and the reception room
Did you look at the Pavilion at the Snapper Inn(thesnapperinn.com) They have an outdoor pavilion which is basically like a big open air porch with soft isdes that roll down in case of rain. It is beautiful. I am getting married there on June 18.
