Visiting Venues

Did your FH go with you to visit venues before deciding!?

My sister's went with her, but my aunt went by herself until she found one she really liked, then her FH went to check it out with her.

I want to get it done, but FH thinks we have 'plenty of time' He just doesnt get it! lol

FH did come with me to the venues.he didn't get it until we started calling and places didn't have the month we wanted

FH came with me to every appointment. He's the negotiator in the relationship. I made the appointments and told him where to be and when!

FH came with me to all of the venues. I sat on the computer one day and made a list of the venues I liked. Then I made him sit down with me and look at the list and we crossed off any he did not like. Then we made appointments at our top 5-6 venues and he went with me to every appointment. After we narrowed it down to one or two, and knew which one we would book, we went back with my parents again.

I went to look at 5 or 6 with my mom then I brought FH back to my top 2.

I can't imagine him not coming but we have been a team with all of this. Maybe it's different if you have parents involved... He only didn't come to one place bc he knew it would be over budget but said if I really loved it and it was feasible that he'd go back. Good thing he didn't come. I didn't love it at all! And it was over budget. LOL.

I went to visit some places I really didn't think I would book, but just wanted to see what was out there; he didn't come with me on those trips. Whenever there was a place we thought was a contender, he went, and when we found 'the one' we then went back with my mom and step-dad.

FH came with me too look at all of them.... all 12!!
He wanted to be part of the process, and I couldn't see myself going without him - it is OUR wedding.

I did most of my visiting when there were bridal showcases which made it easy to get FH bc there was free food lol

FH came with me to all the RHs we visited. He helped me research all the halls before we even called to make an appointment. FH was very into helping decide on a location.

I did a lot of research before I went anywhere. We both knew that I had a particular look in mind as well as certain likes and dislikes so I went to visit the places first and ultimately brought him back to the place we booked at.

I did all the research into venues online, but we talked about what we wanted and he came to visit them all with me. He doesn't care so much about the little details of the wedding but everything big he wants to be involved in.

Ive been going alone. He too doesnt understand the urgency.
Now I have it narrowed down to 2 places. so he can come with me to them when i go back.

FH went with me to ALL of them (about 20 places) - he has very strong opinions so it was important for both of us to be on the same page and agree on a venue together since it is a special day for both of us.

I made the appointments and we went together. He was definitely heading towards burn out, so it's a good thing we made the decision after seeing only 4 RH's.
