So as many of you know, me and the FH along with one of my MOH and her boyfriend went away these past couple of days. It was cheap and seemed like a good deal so we booked it. First thing anyone should looks into is the distance from the hotel to the airport. We were stuck in a van with little AC for 2 hours. We did not realize this until AFTER we booked.
We get there and we get our rooms. I didnt take pictures of the room because I was too embarrassed to show anyone this is where we slept. First of all, of the room was smaller then my bedroom at home, ALOT smaller. All of the furniture looked like it had been through the ringer. The FH leaned on the night stand to pick something up, and the night stand fell off the wall! THE WORST PART, and i extremely disgusted with this, the bathroom door would not close. GROSS!!!
I have never been that type of person to really care about where I stayed as long as I am getting a good deal. I mean who cares what the room looks like, as long as you are in paradise, its an all inclusive, and you are only sleeping there. Now I just kept thinking, I can see myself or another bride booking this place for their honeymoon for a cheap getway. I would probably cry if this is what I got.
I can go on and on about the lack of service or the gross food but the point of this post was really to make everyone aware of where you are going and to ask for suggestions and recommendations from other people. You do not want to be stressed out on your honeymoon!!! The honeymoon is suppose to relieve the stress!!!
OOOOO And make sure its an adult only resort. KIDS SUCK WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO RELAX!
