Volunteer Opportunity
Hi Girls: I saw this on the 2011 board and I reached out to Liz about volunteering. I said that if she wanted I would post on the 2012 board. So here it goes.
Wish Upon a Wedding is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization that provides weddings and vow renewals to couples facing terminal illness or other serious life-altering circumstances, regardless of sexual orientation. Often, couples facing such situations do not have the energy, time, money, or resources needed to plan their wedding. Our organization takes care of all the details, offering couples a chance to relax and enjoy a very special day while surrounded by the love of their closest family and friends.
By celebrating the courage & spirit of these couples, we help create lasting memories that will be cherished for years to come. It is our wish to instill a sense of hope and strength in other couples who may be facing similar situations.
Liz spoke with them and they are soooo excited about this opportunity!!!! They think its wonderful.... they are meeting in two weeks and the very first event that they may need us at is a FASHION SHOW!!!!!!! They will need people to send emails-- register... and yup you guessed it MODEL!!!!!! She has tons of ideas for all of us and will email me as opportunities become available.
