Does anyone use the phone company vonage, or has anyone heard anything about it?? Any good? It's supposed to be linked through your computer.

I actually don't have vonage. I have Lingo, which is a small company. It only costs $20/month for local, long distance and western europe, and includes a ton of calling features, but we've had a lot of trouble with it. We're thinking of cancelling it and just getting a regular landline with a cheap local plan. We have long distance with our cells anyhow.

We have vonage and I love it. My only complaint is that when the cable goes out, so does the phone and in the apt complex the cable goes out frequently.
Sound quality is great and the price is great...I talk to everyone in NY for hours on end!

I had Lingo and it was great, but we are switching to Vonage for some promotional deal FH got thru his company.
