but I would recommend you get the 15 exposure cameras because I was just at a wedding that had the 27 exp, and there were a lot of pictures left on a lot of the cameras!! I bought the Kodak ones in BJ's -- 5 in a box for $25.
Now, ask me if I've developed them, yet and it was 7 months on Monday??!! Even though I didn't do that yet (so bad), I'm glad we did!!! :0
I am going to get the ones from Costo or BJs. I also want only the 15 exposure cameras w/flash. I think it is a great way to get photos of people at the tables having fun. I figure it is not very expensive and it doesn't take a lot of work so why not use them.
I think it's a great way ot get pictures of guests that are at the wedding that the photographer won't neccessarily photograph.
bought them at BJs. I think they are fun, and our families/friends will enjoy having them there.
I asked many people opinions on this a while back, and of the people that used them, maybe like 15 recommended it and 2 didn't, so I went with it. I bought mine at Staples on a rec. from this board, they are 3.99, but 3.33 if you buy over 3. The brand is Jazz, some people here reported using them and not having a problem, we tried one and the pics came out great. Only caveat is that the flash button needs to be pushed again before every pic, but FH who used the camera said this was not a problem, and we plan on putting a little reminder sticker on the back of the camera. I had only wanted 15 exp. but these are 27. They are white with a little design.
I used them and also all my friends brought cameras with them. The funny thing was I think one of my parents friends..(mind you this woman shows her boobs every chance she gets) took very provocative pictures...it really gave us a good laugh.. Make sure that people know not to take them home...
But other than that the pictures were really funny to look at. ANd there were some good ones
I am creating a scavenger hunt to get pictures that my photographer would not get...
I wasn't going to at first...b/c I didn't want to have 20 pictures of the cake cutting, but I thought this was a good solution
We used them and I like the pictures that ACTUALLY CAME OUT!!
We got the cameras on the web from TheKnot.com. They were very nice, but they were not automatic flash so many of our guests didnt think of turning the flash on (and we're talking Harvard PhD's here). SO - the result was spending a hundred dollars on developing pictures that came out mostly too dark. About 3 cameras came out good and the pictures are fun.
SO - my suggestion is to somehow tell your guests to use the flash or to get auto flash.
I'm planning on using these as well. I think its a great idea and you'll be surprised to what kinds of pictures you will get!

I went to a wedding two weeks ago that had cameras on the tables .. we only used it maybe 3-4 times because we wanted to use our cameras also. I think it's a waste b/c they have over 10 cameras to develop with only a few pics on the roll .. just my opinion
We have set family members that will collect them and make sure pictures are taken if not they will run around with them themselves.
Worse case scenerio and something happen with our prof shots I wouldn't care if I paid for developing the table ones if they atleast had memory shots for me.
All else fails you can send out your film and get doubles and it is very cheap.
